I was born in Cali, Colombia on August 8th, 1981. I graduated as a Graphic Designer from the School of Fine Arts of Cali, and later in 2004, I completed my Photography degree at the School of Photography of the Valley. In my early years as a photographer, I focused on founding my own company by establishing a Latin American Image Bank specializing in stock images for advertising.
Since 2008, I have pursued a career as a “Still Photographer” for motion pictures and TV shows, both nationally and internationally.
One of the highlights of my career was my involvement in ‘The 33,’ a Hollywood production shot in Colombia and Chile in 2014. I had the privilege of working alongside Antonio Banderas, Juliette Binoche, Rodrigo Santoro, James Brolin, Gabriel Byrne, Lou Diamond Phillips, Kate del Castillo, and other renowned actors.
My work has been showcased by a Latin group from Gießen, Germany, in 2011, and at the IV International Film Festival of Cali in 2012. I was also honored to be invited as a speaker at the IV National and International Photography Meeting, where I delivered a talk on “Still Photography in Cinema,” held in Cali in October 2014. Currently, I am engaged in various projects in cinema, advertising, and teaching.
